
Mehiret co-founded her international organization Aiding Girls Reach Education (AGRE), working to end educational discrimination and the barriers that prevent girls from accessing education.
Through AGRE, she helped to raise $4,000 to provide 100 backpacks & created a tutoring program with tutors from three different countries, which has already helped over 20 students.

Chase is most proud of his Volunteering and giving back in
-Sports- Coached kids OBGC in LAX, Swim, & Diving for 4 years.
-Tutoring- Volunteered as the teachers aid for religion classes
-Food Bank- fed the needy at his church
-Children – distributed toys to kids in need in Olney.
-Senior Citizens- volunteering at Leisure World
Has been accepted into the UMD-College Park, Michigan, University of Utah, University of Miami, Penn State University, amongst others.
Chase has a 4.9 GPA; 9 AP classes over his 4 years

Volunteer with LinkGenerations, a nonprofit that connects teens with older adults in nursing homes. Started LinkGenerations Chapter at Sherwood High.
President of Sherwood Students to End Poverty
Volunteered with the Treatment & Learning Center, a summer camp designed to enrich and assist neurodivergent children aged 3-7.
Dedicated to continuing the school’s Food Recovery Program, intends to reduce food waste and support hungry students at Sherwood.
